A spot for a picnic, a scenic lookout over Corrigin townsite and a place to commemorate those who served in War.

Each year the community gathers for the ANZAC Day, memorial dawn service. The sizable gravel area caters for the large crowd, who enjoy an ANZAC biscuit made by the students of the Corrigin District High School after the ceremony has concluded.

On arrival, it is hard to miss the beautifully restored WWI Turkish Mountain Gun, which was captured from the Turkish Army at Dumar, by the 10th Light Horse. It is accompanied by a recount of the day on which it was captured by Lieutenant-Colonel Olden.

Leading to the memorial is a graded gravel track, approximately 210 metres.

Parking is located on the right, before going over the crest of the hill. Alternatively, drive all the way to the memorial where you can easily turn the car around.
