A touching tribute to
man's best friend.

Wanting to do something for his ‘best mate’ a local man asked where he could bury his dog. He was pointed in the direction of a patch of soft sand on a hill and that is where the Corrigin Dog Cemetery still is today. The first burial site was marked by a cross in memory of his faithful old dog, and years later when others followed, the graves were marked with headstones.

Pets resting peacefully in the Corrigin Dog Cemetery are visited frequently by the ones who laid them to rest, forever in their hearts and memories.

Read more about the story when you visit the cemetery.
